YOU CAN VERIFY YOUR FAFSA DOCUMENTS ELECTRONICALLY!

Each year you apply for financial aid, you may be selected for a process called verification. The U.S. Department of Education requires verification to help confirm that the information reported on your financial aid application is accurate.

Beginning in the 2026–2027 academic year, ProVerifier+ will serve as CUNY’s new student portal for completing and uploading financial aid documents in a secure, streamlined platform.

 Once all required forms are completed and signed, and all outstanding financial aid tasks are resolved, any necessary corrections will be processed.

Only Students with verification tasks “To Do” will be able to access the system through Single Sign-On. Navigate to this link (“Verify my FAFSA”)

  • Enter your CUNYfirst Credentials (username and password)
  • Complete multi-factor authentication (MFA) as prompted
