Message to the Campus

Dear Campus Community,

By now you may have read the announcement regarding my appointment as the interim President of York College, CUNY effective January 8, 2024.  I am grateful for the opportunity to continue to serve CUNY and all those who seek to transform their lives through education. 

You all know I am rarely at a loss for words, but at this moment I cannot find the right words to express how honored I am to  have served as President for 5 years, but to be a part of this incredible village and community called Kingsborough Community College.  I am grateful to each of you for enriching my administration, our students, and the college.  It is often said that the only constant is change;  but given what I know about KCC, I know that your commitment to the college mission is one thing that will never change.  

Know that more of my words will find their way to you in the coming weeks. Until then, the work continues.
