EXERCISE SCIENCE A.S. DEGREE PROGRAM
Exercise Science A.S. degree program offers a wide range of coursework that provides the foundation for pursuing active, wellness-oriented careers. In preparation for transfer to a baccalaureate program in Exercise Science or related field, students will take courses in fitness assessment, exercise program design, strength and flexibility training, weight management, health and nutrition, and a variety of physical activity courses.

Physical Education, Recreation and Recreation Therapy (PERRT)/Sport Management
The program is affiliated with high schools, community centers, health clubs, hospitals, nursing homes, and colleges where students receive on the job training as part of a fieldwork course. Students will complete practical experience at a site of their choice under the mentorship of a qualified professional. These experiences prepare students with the skills and knowledge they need to be able to assume a leadership role and work experience.
