The Annual Seaside Splash Fundraiser debuted in 2005 and has grown to become the premier fundraising event for the KCC Foundation. Each year, our supporters enjoy cocktails and hors d'oeuvres served on our beautiful beach patio and dinner and dancing held in the magnificent KCC Rotunda, surrounded by beautiful ocean views. Funds raised from Seaside Splash are used to support the Foundation as it strives to advance the college's mission of providing high quality education and continuous improvement in all areas related to student learning including faculty, instructional programs, student services, administrative and support staff, and the campus environment.

#KCCSPIRIT Day (formerly known as KCC Walk-A-Thon)
#KCC Spirit Day brings the entire KCC community including faculty, staff, alumni, retirees, students, family and friends together to raise funds for student scholarships. This day is held in conjunction with #CUNYTUESDAY; internationally, the day is known as #GivingTuesday, a movement that celebrates and supports philanthropic giving on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
At Kingsborough, #KCC Spirit Day involves the administrative and faculty offices fundraising
during the month of November through raffles and donations. The day culminates with
a campus-wide Scavenger Hunt, photos, games, music, snacks, prizes and more! The funds
raised support student scholarships to help students overcome the financial obstacles
that stand in the way of their dreams.

Retiree Luncheon
The Retiree Luncheon is an annual event held in the MAC Rotunda as a way of establishing new relationships while continuing to solidify existing ones with retirees of Kingsborough. This award is funded by the retirees of Kingsborough
Faculty Achievements Recognition Ceremony
At the annual Faculty Recognition Ceremony, Kingsborough faculty and staff are recognized
for their achievements in the areas of grants received, publications and presentations,
works of art or literature produced, and more. The recent 6th annual celebration
included a college-wide recognition of faculty and staff's work and a retrospective
exhibit of faculty and staff over the past 50 years. The quality of teaching and services
that students at KCC receive is only as great as the quality of our faculty and staff
- and as in previous years, the list of honorees told a story of achievement that
could only translate into powerful outcomes for our students.
