Welcome: Executive Chief of Staff/Deputy to the President

Dear College Community,

I am pleased to share that Ms. Nadine Browne will assume the position of Executive Chief of Staff/ Deputy to the President effective Monday, July 18, 2022. 

Ms. Browne is no stranger to our college community. She served KCC as an Academic Advisor then Interim Assistant Director of Freshman Services and Pre-Enrollment from 2003 to 2006.  Since 2017, she has served as the ASAP Director at Bronx Community College (BCC).  In this capacity, she manages  day to day program operations and administrative planning for student recruitment, enrollment, and retention;  a 3-million-dollar budget; and supervises/ provides ongoing professional development for over 30 full-time and 24 part-time staff.  At BCC, Ms. Browne served on a number of institution-wide committees including Strategic Planning and Assessment, Academic Momentum, Middle States, CUNY Pathways, Acmo2.0 and has experience with institutional shared governance having served as an elected HEO Senator.

Her 20+ years of diverse higher education experience also includes a number of  position in areas of student services and enrollment management at the Borough of Manhattan Community College, Hofstra University and DeVry University’s Keller Graduate School of Management

Ms. Browne holds a Bachelor of Arts from Hofstra University, a Masters of Public Administration from DeVry University and a Management Certificate from Cornell University.  Please join me in welcoming Ms. Browne back to Kingsborough in this new role.  She can be reached at Nadine.Browne@kbcc.cuny.edu.
