CUNY Innovative Teaching Academy

Supporting Students with Navigate: Alerts, Referrals, and Early Intervention: This session will explore how faculty can use Navigate to identify and respond when students may benefit from additional support. Participants will learn how to use alerts and referrals to connect students with appropriate resources, support timely outreach, and better understand what happens after a concern or referral is submitted.

    • Thursday, October 22, 3:00–4:00 p.m.
    • November 16, 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

Partnering for Student Success: Faculty, Advisors, and Navigate: This session will explore how faculty and advisors can use Navigate to strengthen communication and collaboration in support of students. Participants will consider how the platform can help colleagues share information, coordinate support, and create a more connected experience for faculty, advisors, and students.

    • Thursday, March 11, 3:00–4:00 p.m.
    • Friday, April 16, 11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.

We’re also planning a Navigate Faculty Learning Circle to give faculty an opportunity to engage more deeply with one another around their use of Navigate, exchange practices and experiences, and learn from colleagues across CUNY. We’re hoping to identify approximately 2–3 faculty members from each campus to participate.
