Dean’s List Criteria
Dean’s List Criteria
The Dean’s List at Kingsborough Community College recognizes the academic excellence of our matriculated students each academic term. In order to qualify for the Dean’s List, students must meet the following criteria for a given term (defined as 12-week session and 6-week module):
-
Earn 12 credits or more (not including developmental courses)
-
Achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.50 or higher for the term
-
Not have grades of “D,” “F,” “FIN,” “INC,” “R,” or “WU” at the time the list is produced.
-
Be in good academic standing.
Attainment of the Dean’s List becomes part of students’ permanent record and appears on their transcript.
Students who meet the above criteria will automatically placed on the Dean’s List. Students do not need to apply to be considered for this honor.
