Fall 2023 classes start September 8, 2023
Winter 2024 classes start January 2, 2024

  • Spring B (Summer 2023): 6-week classes run June 22- August 11, 2023

To be considered a full-time student, you need to register for a minimum of 12 credits. Kingsborough’s unique calendar allows you to split the credits between Fall A Session and Fall B Session, and Spring A Session and Spring B Session (for example, 9 credits in the Spring A Session and 3 credits during Spring B Session) and still be considered a full-time student ONLY if you register for all your classes before the start of the fall and spring semesters. To graduate within two years, you should take at least 15 credits each semester.

NOTE: If you plan to split your schedule, you must register for both the 12-week session and the 6-week module that follows by the seventh day of the 12-week session in order to receive full-time financial aid for any term. (The 12-week sessions are fall and spring; the 6-week modules are winter and summer.)

Your KCC Advisement Academies advisor is available to support you. We encourage you to reach out to schedule a meeting with them as soon as possible using Starfish. You can meet with your advisor either via Zoom or in-person.

Students in special programs (ASAP, College Discovery, and FLEX) should reach out to their advisors directly. Appointments should be made using Starfish.
