Kingsborough accepts applications for non-degree status for Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer.
Please note that non-degree students pay a higher per credit rate and are not eligible for financial aid or the flat full-time tuition rate. Opening dates and deadlines are based on enrollment and class availability.

How to Apply
Step 1: Complete the Non-Degree Online Application
Step 2: Submit Education Transcript and Supporting Documents
An applicant must submit proof of high school graduation or G.E.D. diploma or the equivalent of 24 earned college credits by submitting one of the following:
A. Original high school diploma or a letter sent by high school verifying date of graduation, OR
B. Original General Equivalency Diploma (if obtained outside New York State one must also submit the test scores), OR
C. Official college transcripts, OR
D. Original college diploma.

Students with Foreign Documents
Kingsborough is accepting students with foreign documents for the Fall 2020; however, applicants must first have all of their documents translated and evaluated. In order to do so, please choose one of the following services:

Step 3: Pay Your Application Fee
The $65 fee will be charged to your account. Payment is required before you can register. If you do not register for the semester applying, payment can be applied for the subsequent semester.
*The application fee is non-refundable.
**Veterans of the United States Military Service, currently on Active Duty or members of the National Guard or Reserves may obtain an application fee waiver by answering the US Military Status question on the CUNY application and submitting proof of their Veteran/Military status (ie., DD-214, Current Military ID Card, or Deployment or Pre-separation orders).
Step 4: Submit Education Transcript and Supporting Documents

Step 5: Submit Proof of Immunization
If you are born on or after January 1, 1957, proof of Immunization for Measles, Mumps
and Rubella (including a Meningococcal Meningitis response form) must be completed
and signed before selecting classes.

The My Turn Program is a senior program offered by Kingsborough Community College. The college offers older adults a great opportunity to attend college tuition free. Applicants who are 60 years old or who will reach their sixtieth birthday by the first day of classes may contact the My Turn Office in room F-219 or by phone (718) 368-5079.
