Scholarships, Grants and Awards
General Scholarships
The KCC Foundation offers a variety of scholarships year-round for eligible students in need of direct financial assistance. Average scholarships are $500 and may be awarded only once per semester.
Scholarship Application:
- Applying for a scholarship does not mean you will automatically be awarded a scholarship but your application will be reviewed for consideration by the scholarship committee.
- You must be enrolled to apply.
- Log in to Awardspring to view all scholarships that a) are currently open to apply and b) match your academic profile (major, GPA, # of credits, etc.)
- If you have a problem with completing the application, please send an email to student.affairs@kbcc.cuny.edu and include your name and EMPLID.
- Scholarships will be awarded according to the availability of scholarship funds and the Donor’s guidelines

| Matriculated student with a GPA of 2.5 or above and demonstrate financial need; must be majoring in a “helping” profession; included in this agreement: Mental Health, CASAC, Education (in light of Dr. Plimpton’s fondness for fishing and boating, a Maritime Technology major is eligible. Liberal Arts majors may also be considered).
