Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) project
On Friday, May 22, after several months of work, Professor Susan Spivack and students from a Digital Illustration course completed Service- Learning and Perkin's Grant projects for the Wildlife Conservation Society and presented our graphics at the NY Aquarium. Participants were awarded a letter of appreciation and passes for the Bronx Zoo!
The project was an invaluable experience for the students involved as they were challenged to create material for real world applications, solve visual as well as production problems, work as a team and interface with the client.
The day concluded with a tour of the Aquarium and a kiss from the Walrus, and a good time was had by all.
