Biography

MaryAnn Edelman RN MS is a Professor at Kingsborough Community College in the Department of Nursing. Ms. Edelman has many years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in the acute care setting, in the community, and in a private practice. She is currently the Course Coordinator for Fundamentals of Nursing, (Nursing 18).

Ms. Edelman has developed and implemented several hybrid courses in the department,  including Diet in Health and Illness (Nursing 44) in this format. She served as Co-Coordinator of a CPR Fundraising Initiative which was implemented to benefit the Board of Mississippi Chapter of the Organization for Associate Degree Nursing (M-OADN) for Hurricane Katrina Relief. Ms. Edelman served as a PSC/CUNY Grant Reviewer in their Research Program, and was a member of the Program Planning Committee of The International Conference of the Transcultural Nursing Society (TCNS): Northeast/Tri-state/Metropolitan NYC Chapter of TCNS & CUNY Consortium of Nursing Program.
