Biography

Christine M. Rudisel, Associate Professor, has been a member of the full-time faculty at Kingsborough since 2004.  She has served as one of the co-directors of the Developmental English Program since 2011 and as the department’s liaison to Access-Ability Services since 2004.   Before joining the faculty at Kingsborough, Christine taught composition, oral expression, English comprehension, and American civilization at the Université de Nancy II in Nancy, France. 

In addition to co-directing the Developmental English Program, Christine is a member of the Board of Advisors for the Kingsborough Center for Teaching and Learning.  Her interest in advancing student learning and developing novel pedagogies is demonstrated not only by her work with the Center but also by the workshops she has facilitated and the articles she has written about working with atypical learners.
