President Message

COVID-19 Update March 11, 2020

Dear Campus Community,

I know that recent events of the past week have raised alarm and caused anxiety among many of you. I want you to know that your health, safety and well-being are of utmost importance to the University and the College. These are unprecedented times, and we are doing all we can to ensure academic continuity and to safeguard the health of the KCC community.

We are making plans in the event that instruction has to be moved online. We have also increased sanitization of all areas of the College, cancelled nonessential and community events, and most importantly, continued to provide critical updates via email, on our dedicated coronavirus website, and on social media.

I appreciate and thank all who have sent emails to the KBCC Employees email encouraging us to stand against xenophobia and other kinds of discrimination, and also thank those who have sent emails sharing recommendations and suggestions for protecting ourselves from the coronavirus. Times like these serve as a consistent reminder of how incredible we are, together. Thank you again for being calm, patient and dedicated, even in this turbulent time. We will continue to communicate with you as information becomes available.

President Schrader
