English 57: Creative Writing: Poetry

In this class, students practice the art and craft of writing poetry. To help us better understand how poems work, we also read widely and closely, examining a range of models, from traditional to experimental.  Classes will be both workshop and discussion-based.

Course does NOT satisfy Group II Literature requirement.
