Program Activities

Students Will:
- Complete Bio 61 and Bio 62 in the spring semester of their first year
- Attend Regional and National Conferences
- Annual Biomedical Research Conference for Minority Students (ABRCMS)
- Metropolitan Association of College and University Biologists (MACUB)
- Annual CSTEP Conference: Lake George New York
- Visit the American Museum of Natural History
- Visit the Dolan DNA Learning Center
- Attend and participate in KCC's Annual Bio Scholars Day
- Participate in a Faculty Mentored Research Project if eligible
- Prepare an abstract and Poster of their research project
- Present their poster at the annual MACUB and ABRCMS Conferences
- Visit Bio classes at KCC to recruit future students for the CSTEP Program
