Being a college student is challenging under any circumstances, but juggling school and the responsibility of caring for a child can require an especially great effort. Kingsborough Community College Is aware of these challenges, and offers numerous resources designed to support single parents while they are pursuing their academic degrees! We are here to help!

Kingsborough Community College’s Access Resource Center is a one-stop place to get connected to government benefits and resources, including childcare, SNAP, clothing, or transportation. 

Child Development Center V-105 / 718-368-5868

The Kingsborough Community College Child Development Center offers high quality early care and education opportunities for children of KCC students ages 18 months to nine years, as well as parent education and academic support for student-parents.

Center For Career Development And Experiential Learning C-102 / 718-368-5115

The Center for Career Development & Experiential Learning offers various resources to assist student with their job search and career exploration. 

KCC FLEX D-124 / 718-368-6995

Kingsborough Community Colleges’ KCC FLEX program offers an affordable, flexible way to earn – or finish – a college degree that fits each student’s lifestyle. Students can complete a KCC FLEX degree online and on-campus, evenings and weekends. Their flexible schedule is perfect for adults who juggle school, family and work.
