Under the supervision of a licensed Social Worker, KCC students majoring in Education, Mental Health, Communications and Performing Arts assist the teachers at P.S. 225 with their after-school classes. Various Service-learning activities include homework help, music, dance, literacy, costume design, arts & crafts, sports. Service-learners will have the opportunity to develop rapport with children and gain perspective on how an after school program is managed and maintained.
