College for Kids Fall 2023

Through participating in new activities, children learn the value of teamwork and personal responsibility while gaining the knowledge and self-worth that can help them to achieve their goals. We offer a variety of academic and recreational courses for children ages 5-13 on Kingsborough's beautiful and secure campus. Our program is designed to provide opportunities for each child to enjoy the satisfaction of accomplishment through personal achievements such as mastering skills and educational advancement. Students are also encouraged to embrace a healthy and fit lifestyle through the many activities and sports to which they are introduced.

Early Kiddie College 5 & 6 Year-Olds Program

Five and six year old's are encouraged to explore, imagine and have fun, while in a separate learning environment from the older children. Interactive lessons in reading, writing, math, science and art will be provided while allowing time for sports and games from 9:30am-1pm for all 7 Saturday Sessions.

Basketball
Learn the basic skills, rules and tactics of basketball.

Soccer
Learn the basic skills, rules and tactics of soccer. Practice kicking, trapping and passing the ball. You must wear sneakers.

Art
You will sharpen your artistic skills by crafting a scene out of foil, weaving a bracelet, making a beaded keychain and more.

Math
Academy Math concepts are presented in an enjoyable, non-threatening environment. Skills covered will reflect current gradeappropriate curricula.

Graphic Design
Learn the basic principles of design and construction to create greeting cards, flyers, comic strips, logos and report covers. Great for graphic art projects or just plain fun!

Forensic Detective
An introduction to the intricate work of a detective and how they solve crimes through forensic science.

Writing Superstars
Broaden your imagination while enhancing your writing skills. Exercising creativity, you will write short stories and draw accompanying pictures.

Rockstar Readers
Interactive instruction designed to improve reading comprehension and basic reading skills. Skills covered will reflect current gradeappropriate curricula.
