Health Center
Health Center is one of many services offered by the Department of Student Affairs.
The office is located in the Administration Building, Room A-108. It is open whenever
classes are in session and the College is open for business. This usually means:
Monday - Thursday: 8:00 am to 10:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am to 9:30 pm
Saturday - Sunday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

The Health Center is currently open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am-5pm.
We are committed to taking proper safety measures as we follow guidance and safety
guidelines from CUNY, the CDC and the NYSDOH.
We will now require appointments for the free vaccines offered in our office. For (Hep B, Flu, MMR, and T-dap) vaccines, please call 718-368-5684 or email dgale@kbcc.cuny.edu for an appointment.

Who is eligible for emergency health care?
Any student, faculty, administrator or support staff of Kingsborough Community College
and any other person on campus will be assisted in an emergency by the staff in the
Office of Health Services.
What if I need more than first aid?
Health Center upon assessment makes a referral to your own health care provider and to other health-related agencies. There you will be reassessed and treated as needed.

Full-time and part-time registered nurses
Part-time college assistants

Do I have to pay for health care?
No. Health Center renders health care free of charge to the recipient. However, there may be a fee associated with health care given at the referral site.
