Greetings Kingsborough Students, Faculty and Staff:

Kingsborough Community College is located in a heavily residential neighborhood. Therefore, it is incumbent on us, the students, faculty and staff, to treat the surrounding areas of the college the same way we would treat our own homes and neighbors. We form part of the Manhattan Beach community and, as citizens of the college, ask that you take responsibility for our community and refrain from Blocking Driveways, Littering, Double Parking and Speeding. NYPD will be enforcing parking and traffic rules. Please comply to avoid being issued a ticket and towing fees.

Students who wish to park on campus must purchase a parking permit in the Bursar’s office (room A-205) and will enter through the North Gate (Shore Blvd). Faculty and staff are required to purchase parking permits as well.

Thank you in advance and enjoy the Fall Semester.

Crime on campus can be significantly reduced if each person will take the time to properly secure personal and university property, to mark and record the make, model and serial number of personal possessions; to lock rooms and buildings when leaving; to always lock vehicles and take the keys; to observe and report suspicious persons or activities; and never to leave valuables unattended or unsecured. Cooperation is necessary for the successful prevention of crime. The Department of Public Safety offers a number of crime prevention programs to assist University students, faculty and staff in fighting crime on campus. Questions regarding our Crime Prevention programs should be referred to Chief of Public Safety Kenneth Greene.
