Faculty Interest Groups

Global and Environmental Studies

This FIG, facilitated by Jennifer Corby (History, Philosophy, and Political Science), is designed for people interested in exploring course design and developing research interests from a global perspective. Some examples of global issues involve climate change, migration, food production, the Anthropocene, globalization, and ecological inequalities—all topics that are deeply intertwined, and benefit from interdisciplinary study.”

While faculty teaching courses in the Liberal Arts Global and Environmental Studies concentration may find this FIG of particular interest, we welcome all faculty and staff who are interested in learning more about global or international studies. For more information or to join, please contact Jennifer at jennifer.corby@kbcc.cuny.edu and please visit our page on the CUNY Academic Commons
