Collegiate Science and Technology Entry Program

Program Requirements

Students Must:
  • Be New York State Residents
  • Be African-American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian or Alaskan native

    or qualify as being economically disadvantaged.  Click on this link for details: Income Eligibility Criteria
  • Be enrolled as a full time student in any one of the following degree programs
  • A.S. Biology
  • A.S. Biotechnology
  • A.A.S. Physical Therapist Assistant
  • A.A.S. Nursing
  • A.A.S. Emergency Medical Services-Paramedic
  • A.A.S. Surgical Technology
  • Be a student in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Remain enrolled in the CSTEP program for at least two semesters
  • Complete Bio 61-62 which is offered every spring semester
  • Complete a program application and submit it to the CSTEP Office located in room S-218
