Program Requirements

Students Must:
- Be New York State Residents
- Be African-American, Hispanic/Latino, American Indian or Alaskan native
or qualify as being economically disadvantaged. Click on this link for details: Income Eligibility Criteria
- Be enrolled as a full time student in any one of the following degree programs
- A.S. Biology
- A.S. Biotechnology
- A.A.S. Physical Therapist Assistant
- A.A.S. Nursing
- A.A.S. Emergency Medical Services-Paramedic
- A.A.S. Surgical Technology
- Be a student in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.5
- Remain enrolled in the CSTEP program for at least two semesters
- Complete Bio 61-62 which is offered every spring semester
- Complete a program application and submit it to the CSTEP Office located in room S-218
