Subject: High Importance: Faculty and Staff Exposure to COVID-19

Dear College Community,

We received notification of 2 positive COVID-19 case with a faculty and staff member here at Kingsborough Community College. 

Both the faculty member self-reported and were last on campus on Friday, December 4th, 2020.  When last on campus, both individuals were asymptomatic and all safety protocols were observed including wearing proper masks as well as maintaining proper social distance. The faculty and staff members are recovering at home and we wish them well.  We have notified all impacted parties to give them proper instructions as per the Department of Health on how to quarantine. 

As always, your health and safety are a priority. We ask that you continue to practice social distancing, proper hand-washing and wear a mask.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to practice social distancing, mask-wearing, and good hand washing and sanitizing hygiene. As always, any person who develops symptoms of should contact their health care provider.
