Dear KCC Students,

I hope this email meets you in good health and spirits; that you are excited about your future; and that you are motivated to succeed. Believe it or not, there are times when even I need motivation. Writing to you and reading your responses always lifts my spirits and motivates me to work even harder on your behalf. And during those times when there are things I need to do, but I just can't get it together, music becomes my biggest motivator.  

When I need that extra push to exercise it's Girl on Fire, by Alicia Keyes; when I know I have a particularly hard and long day ahead of me it's Lovely Day, by Bill Withers; and when something didn't work out in my favor, it's On to the Next One by Jay Z.  These songs are always in heavy rotation on my phone. We all need something or someone who keeps us going.  On behalf of KCC faculty and staff I'm writing to tell you KEEP GOING!.  Don't give up on your dreams.  In the words of Rihanna it's going take lots of  work, work, work, work, work! But you got this!  Stay motivated and stay on track to meet your goals!
