President’s Weekly Messages to Students

Keep on keeping on

Keep on keeping on

Wednesday, December 8, 2021

Dear KCC Students,

I know you can see the light at the end of the tunnel. You made it to the end of the semester, but that is not the light that you see.  The light you see is your future shining bright.   You are one step closer to achieving your academic and professional goals.  For some of you this is your last semester; others of you will reach the finish line in June; and for many others you have a few more semesters to go.  Where ever you are in the process of achieving your goals, the light is still there. You have to do your part to get it, but I have no doubt in your abilities to do so.

In these last days it easy to get overwhelmed, when this happens look towards the light of your future and keep your eyes on your ultimate prize: obtaining your degree.  Kingsborough students: Keep going.  Keep studying.  Keep reading.  Keep reviewing. Keep writing. Keep preparing. And most of all Keep being as brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous and incredible as you are.

You got this!

President Schrader

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear in that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?
Actually, who are you not to be?
