Subject: High Importance: Faculty and Staff Exposure to COVID-19

Dear College Community,

We received notification of a positive COVID-19 case with a staff member here at Kingsborough Community College. 

The staff member self-reported and was last on campus on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020.  When last on campus the individual observed all safety protocols including wearing proper masks as well as maintaining proper social distance. The staff member is recovering at home and we wish them well.  We have notified all impacted parties to give them proper instructions as per the Department of Health on how to quarantine. 

As always, your health and safety are a priority. We ask that you continue to practice social distancing, proper hand-washing and wear a mask.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone to practice social distancing, mask-wearing, and good hand washing and sanitizing hygiene. As always, any person who develops symptoms of should contact their health care provider.
