READMISSION FOR FALL 2015 OPENS ON MAY 4, 2015.  

Readmission for students in good academic standing who ARE NOT transferring in credits earned at other colleges closes on September 4, 2015.

Readmission for students in good academic standing who ARE transferring in credits earned at other colleges closes on August 21, 2015.
 
Readmission for students in poor academic standing closes on August 21, 2015. 


Please Note: Once you have received your Kingsborough degree, YOU MAY NOT APPLY FOR READMISSION.  You will need to complete a CUNY application as a second degree student in room V-100.

Photo identification is required when you submit your application for readmission.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR READMISSION
First, note the following:

  • File your Application for Readmission according to the deadline dates listed above.
  • Clear any holds on your record prior to submitting a readmission form.
  • Pay the non-refundable $20 Readmission application processing fee.
  • U.S. Veterans who provide proof of service do not pay the Readmission application processing fee.

    INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE PROCESSED.


Students in GOOD ACADEMIC STANDING (cumulative Grade Point Average is 2.00 or higher)   
1. Pay the $20 Readmission Fee at the Bursar’s Office, room A-205 (Veterans are exempt).
2. Obtain Immunization Clearance from Health Services, room A-108.
3. Confirm Proof of Residency in room V-101 if your residency has changed since you last attended. Immigration Status Documentation (Original Documents - Passport, I-20, Visa, I-94, I-551) must be presented in room V-101.
4. Return your Readmission Form to the Registrar’s Office, room A-101. 

Students in POOR ACADEMIC STANDING (cumulative Grade Point Average is below 2.00)
1. If your cumulative GPA is below 2.00, you must write an Appeal Letter to the
College Committee on Admission and Academic Standing.
2. The Appeal Letter must be submitted along with your Readmission Application.   
3. Pay the $20 Readmission Fee at the Bursar's Office, room A-205 (Veterans are exempt). 
4. Obtain Immunization Clearance from Health Services, room A-108.
5. Confirm Proof of Residency in room V-101 if your residency has changed since you last attended.  Immigration Status Documentation (Original Documents - Passport, I-20, Visa, I-94, I-551) must be presented in room V-101.
6. Return your Readmission Form to the Registrar's Office, room A-101.  You must include your Appeal Letter with your Readmission Form.                                                   
7. You will be notified of the status of your Application for Readmission in writing.
