Full-Time Day Intensive: 144 Hours of Instruction!

Introduced in 1997 to enable non-native speakers to develop proficiency in the English language, the full-time Kingsborough English Language Institute (KELI) offers multiple proficiency levels for beginners to advanced. Learn or improve your English! Register for the KELI Full-Time Intensive English as a Second Language Course. Tuition is only $470. The classes are Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm, T-2 building.

Everyone is placed in the best class for their skill level!

ESL 70 ENGLISH AS A SECOND LANGUAGE (T) $470
The classes are Monday through Thursday, from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Classes start on Monday, June 30, 2008 and end on Thursday, August 7, 2008
• Certificate of Attendance (90%)
• A valid ID card (provides access to pool, gym, library, computer and other campus facilities)
• 24 class hours per week, for 6 weeks
• Assistance for CUNY college admission
• Trips and events
• TOEFL practice
• The issuing of I-20s to qualified students
• Academic preparation for university-bound students

Classes start on Monday, June 30, 2008 and end on Thursday, August 7, 2008

Evening Program

The KELI English as a second language program provides 9 levels of proficiency, offering English survival skills from entry level to job readiness. Register and complete three terms of English as a Second Language in our weeknight program and Earn a Certificate as follows:

Beginner Certificate Levels 0, 1, 2
Advanced Beginner Certificate Levels 2, 3, 4
Intermediate Certificate Levels 3, 4, 5
Advanced Certificate Levels 4, 5, 6
Certificate in Advanced Levels 7, 8
Reading & Writing

NOTE: You must successfully complete 3 classes in each level in order to earn your certificate and you can earn more than one certificate. It is highly recommended that you take the classes in consecutive semesters for maximum benefit.

ESL 00 English as a Second Language (T) $100
Tue., Wed. & Thur. 6:45 - 9:45 pm

• Free placement in classes at the appropriate level needed
• Qualified and experienced instructors
• Practice in listening and speaking, reading and writing
• Minimum of three hours of computer instruction (Levels 3-8)
• Instructional content that is interesting and designed for all adults.

Designed for advanced English as a Second Language (ESL) learners who would like to improve both their pronunciation and fluency in the language.
