Electronic Health Records Specialist

Description

This training program introduces students to the essential functions of Electronic Health Records (EHR). It includes discussions and illustrations on the latest information management technologies (hardware and software) currently used in healthcare. Students will be immersed in the environment, organization, and terminologies unique to the use of EHR at all levels of patient care. Computer-based hands-on exercises will be a part of this course.

National Healthcareer Association (NHA) testing requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
