Description

This course provides an overall view of the fundamentals of medical and pharmaceutical terminology, pharmaceutical calculations, concepts of pharmacology, and medicinal therapy as they relate to anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. Students will also learn about the laws, ethics, and standards required in pharmacy. They will apply their knowledge in an on-site hospital and retail setting.

Requirements

National Healthcareer Association (NHA) testing requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
