Patient Care Technician

Description

The training includes comprehensive instruction on vascular anatomy and the performance of venipuncture techniques. Students will also learn and practice performing EKGs and basic terms associated with the cardiovascular system, anatomy, and physiology.

This course is for Certified Nurse Aides only. Live needle sticks performed.

Requirements

National Healthcareer Association (NHA) testing requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Students must sign an Assumption of Risk.
