KCC Assessment & Care Team (ACT) Referral Form
The Assessment and Care Team (ACT) has been created to identify, investigate, assess, refer, monitor and take action in response to behaviors exhibited by Kingsborough students that may pose a threat to the college community.
Anyone who is concerned about a student and his/her behavior can make an ACT referral; including students, parents, faculty and staff, and other community members.
As a result of a referral to ACT, the ACT will assess the situation and make recommendations for action.
The Counseling Center provides emotional and psychological support to students as they pursue their academic and personal goals, and strive toward enhancing the quality of their experience at Kingsborough. Counseling sessions are confidential and free for all currently enrolled students.
Student Wellness Center (SWC)
The Student Wellness Center provides health and mental health education in an integrated and holistic way. SWC connects students with wellness, and promotes healthy living through various events on campus. Students are able to schedule Wellness Appointments to discuss time management, success in college, stress reduction, relationship challenges, and more.
Room A-108 (Offices E & F)
