The Kingsborough Art Museum (KAM) will present an Artist’s Talk featuring Antonio Pulgarin, a lens-based artist (and former Kingsborough student) whose exhibition, I Stand Here, Like the Sun That Frightens the Cold, is on view through December 4.
Pulgarin will be discussing his life as a Colombian-American artist, and how his upbringing influenced his work, which confronts issues of gender, cultural and national identity, sexual orientation, family, and conceptions of masculinity in Latinx culture. Please join us for this lively discussion with this up-and-coming visual artist.
