The Women’s and Gender Studies Program and the Global and Environmental Studies Program for an opening discussion of whiteness from a transdisciplinary perspective.
We will begin by unpacking the social construction of whiteness and reflect on our lived experiences within this construct.
Stuart Parker (Behavioral Sciences), Amy Karp (English), and Dominic Wetzel (Behavioral Sciences) will join Liberal Arts Program Coordinators Red Washburn and Jason Leggett to consider the impact of whiteness across our institution and in our different roles.
We believe this day is for everyone no matter your political beliefs, and we invite you to voice your opinion. See below for the Zoom info. We look forward to connecting with you all.
