Mission Statement: The Tutorial Academic Support Center is primarily responsible for supporting students
throughout their academic career in terms of general welfare and academic progress.
The goal of the Center is to assist all students with locating adequate resources
to successfully complete all of their coursework. We focus on each and every student
individually. Our emphasis is on the student’s acquiring and practicing his/her basic

Monday - Thursday: 9:00am – 7:30pm, Friday: 8:00am - 4:00pm
Winter and Summer semester:
Monday-Thursday 9:00am -6:00 PM
What we offer:
- Free tutoring is available for almost all Kingsborough courses on a first come first
serve basis. The tutoring is on a weekly appointment basis. Students can receive one
or two hours per week of tutoring per subject. Students will meet with the same tutor
throughout the entire semester. Click onCourse Listing to see what we offer. Even if the course needed is not on the list, we may still be
able to find a tutor.
- Math Multiple Repeater Workshop - The Math Workshop is a program specifically designed
for students who have failed Math 1 or Math 2 two or more times. Instead of taking
the traditional Math M1 or M2 class, students enroll in a workshop. At the completion
of the math workshop, the student will take over the portion of the exam they previously
- Supplemental Instruction- With funding from a Carl. D Perkins grant we offer specialized
tutoring for students in the following courses: Biology 11, Biology 12, Science 25,
Accounting 11, Accounting 12, CA 50 & CA 99.
- Nursing TEAS Workshops for ESL students and general population students -Free Workshops
are available in English, Math & Science to help students prepare for the Nursing
TEAS exam and entrance into the Clinical Nursing Program.
To get tutoring for the course, the student must be registered in the course
