WAC for Students

To insure the smaller classes that make working on writing possible, Kingsborough offers a variety of options: learning communities for incoming students, upper level learning communities in the majors, honors and honors option sections, and writing intensive sections.

Since 2010, entering students have been required to complete at least one writing intensive section before graduating, but feel free to take more!

If you have questions about meeting the writing intensive graduation requirement, go to the Academic Advisement Center in M201, or call 718 368 5744.

If you want to know more about the requirement, what to expect from your writing intensive section, and how to use the Assignment Lab to get help with your writing intensive or Honors assignments, click on the links in this paragraph or the ones on the navigation menu on the left.
