So you want to become aP E E R ... A D V I S O RAny questions about Peer Advisors?
I've heard about Peer Advisors; who are they?
Can
anybody be a Peer Advisor? Once you're accepted into the program, you'll be asked to provide us with a copy of your class schedule. This is done so that we may place you into one of many training groups. We ensure that the training does not interfere with your classes. The training sessions meet once a week for six weeks. After the third session all participants and faculty are expected to attend a weekend retreat. This training weekend is mandatory. The best part is.. IT'S FREE! Sounds good, but what's in it for me? If you come to see us in Student Life (C-123), we'll be happy to tell you about all the other benefits of being a Peer Advisor. The office of Student Life is the home of the Director of Student Life, Dean Angelo Pappagallo. |
