Applying for Grants

The Office for College Advancement is Kingsborough Community College’s centralized “one-stop” office for coordinating the submission, processing and reporting of grants and contracts.

College Advancement provides technical assistance to members of the faculty, staff and administration in obtaining grant funding for projects that further the mission and goals of the college. We are available to help with everything from conceptual proposal development and identification of potential funding sources to constructing line item budgets and coordinating proposal submission.

Once grants are received, we can assist with post-award services such as providing Grant Project Directors with training on processing fiscal transactions, coordinating submissions of budget and program modifications, and assisting with interim and final report narratives.

It is never too early to begin discussing a proposal idea or need for grant funding with staff in the Office for College Advancement. We look forward to hearing from you.
