| This is a Web-enhanced course designed to encourage learning through the Internet. Students are required to read assigned readings for each lecture from the textbook and sourcebook. They are strongly encouraged to examine documents and images available on the World Wide Web. By answering questions contained in the web assignments (marked with an asterisk) they can earn extra credit. The Internet is a valuable research tool for students. Those who will take advantage of the opportunities for research found on the World Wide Web will not only broaden their knowledge of history but will acquire technological skills valuable for success in life beyond college. |
