CUNY Common Core/Pathways

What is the CUNY Common Core/Pathways?
The CUNY Common Core is the new general education requirement at all CUNY colleges, starting in Fall 2013. It consists of the Required Core (12 credits) and the Flexible Core (18 credits for A.A. and A.S. degrees, and 9 credits for A.A.S degrees). Once fulfilled at one CUNY college, these general education credits will fulfill the same Core category at another CUNY college.

How will the CUNY Common Core/Pathways affect you?
The CUNY Common Core/Pathways affects all Fall 2013 entering students and many continuing students; it also affects the transfer process. To find out how the CUNY Common Core/Pathways affects your degree program, select your major below:
