The Office of Career Development, Transfer, New Start, and Scholarship Opportunities aspires to be recognized as a premier resource for students providing services, programs and events to enhance student learning and development in the areas of career exploration, transfer services, service-learning, scholarship opportunities and advisement.

Your CAREER
Our Career Development Center offers various resources to assist you in your job search and career exploration. In addition to this website, the Center offers you many different opportunities for you to develop your career goals including help with choosing a major, workshops, internships, job search assistance, and self-assessment. Career Counselors are available to give you individualized assistance.

A NEW START
Our New Start Program, established in 1985, was developed to assist students who have experienced academic difficulty at one of the 26 participating colleges. Students in the program are offered specialized counseling and targeted academic advisement designed to assist students in overcoming previous difficulties and work toward future success. In addition to information on this website, our New Start Counselors are available to give you individualized assistance.

A SCHOLARSHIP
Would you like help to pay for your education? Unlike loans, scholarships do not need to be repaid. Our center has information on different scholarships available to you based on specific criteria, including financial need, academic merit, major of study and ethnicity. There are school-based scholarships, as well as scholarships from private organizations. In addition to information on this website, our counselors are available to help you with your scholarship needs.
