Resources for Educational and Employment Opportunities (REEO) is a non-profit organization that is committed to empowering community college students with the opportunity to transfer to a four-year university, to earn a college degree and to obtain a professional position upon graduation. REEO's partnership model is aimed at creating mutually beneficial relationships between community colleges, community college students, universities and corporations.
REEO works closely with its community college partners to empower underserved talented community college students by providing professional, academic and financial resources at no cost. The REEO Program is designed to assist in the development of community college students at each stage of their professional and academic careers. The Rising Stars Program of REEO transferred 100% of its community college student participants who applied to top tier four-year universities.
The admissions process for the Rising Stars Program of REEO is very competitive due to the limited number of spots available in the program. Check out REEO website to learn more about it and visit the Honors House in M377 to apply to the program.
The first REEO cohort at KCC began in September 2009.
