KCTL hosts a panel discussion at least once a year on getting published, where panelists address topics such as publishing in their various disciplines as well as in the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL), the importance of conferences in the publishing process, and turning a dissertation into a book. Loretta Brancaccio-Taras (Biological Sciences, KCeL), Alison Better and Susan Farrell (Behavioral Sciences), Libby Garland (History, Philosophy, and Political Science), and Caterina Pierre (Art) have all served as panelists.
