WAYS TO SUPPORT PAGE
The Kingsborough Community College Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) (3) established in 1982, exists solely to benefit Kingsborough Community College. Funds are used to provide student scholarships and financial assistance programs, support faculty development and scholarship, enrich the student learning experience, and build the college’s endowment for future generations.
Empower students to grow and thrive academically, emotionally, physically, socially and spiritually. Create environments that encourage students to become responsible, engaged and empowered community members and citizens.
A minimum donation of $50,000 to support students in perpetuity is invested, and the proceeds are used to fund a scholarship award. The donor determines the selection criteria for the scholarship, and the endowment can be added to at any time by the donor.

Limited-Term Scholarships funded by a minimum donation of $10,000 provide scholarship support for a specified time-period and are typically funded through a lump-sum contribution. Additional gifts can be added over time to increase and/or replenish the scholarship fund.

Gifts designated to support the college’s areas of greatest need are very important and needed. These donations provide flexible funds in support of initiatives such as emergency financial assistance for students, a service-learning project, faculty research that enhances academic excellence of KCC, or any other pressing need.
Located next to the Academic Village, the KCC Way symbolizes the journey of those who have contributed to the vitality of the Kingsborough community. You may choose from: $1,500 Ornamental Tree Plaque | $1,500 Bench Plaque |$500 Double Brick | $300 Single Brick.
Leave a legacy and transform the lives of KCC students by including the college in your estate plans. From a simple will bequest to establishing a charitable gift annuity, planned giving is a meaningful way to support present and future KCC students. If you have already included KCC in your planned giving, please call us at 718.368.4539 to enroll as a distinguished member of The Beacon Society.
KCC accepts in-kind donations of items that can be used by the college in a meaningful way. Certain restrictions and factors apply to our acceptance of in-kind gifts as required by tax regulations and college policies. Interested individuals, businesses and corporations are encouraged to submit an in-kind donation form
Matching gifts are a great way to increase your contribution to the KCC. Employers often match gifts to non-profits to double or even triple a donor (or spouse's) gift. The College Advancement team is happy to help with any processing. To find out if you gift can be matched, speak with your employer or use the box below to see if your firm offers a matching gift program:
