Hope Reichbach Memorial Fund
The Hope Reichbach Memorial Fund (Hope Fund) provides vital
learning experiences and career development for underprivileged college students, invitng them into a
network centered around Hope Reichbach’s memory and values of actve leadership and communal responsibility.
The Fund was launched after Hope’s passing in April 2011, and through this effort we, her family and friends, continue to grow

who to take traditionally unpaid internships in civic
leadership and grassroots community organizing
in the borough of Brooklyn.
Qualifications or Eligibility:
• Must be a full-‐time college student in his or her freshman or sophomore year.
• Must be in receipt of a significant amount of financial
• Must be a resident of one of New York City’s five boroughs (though may be attending college elsewhere).

Applicants should be independently researching organizations
in Brooklyn where they might like to work while applying for
the Hope Fund program.

The internships provide students with hands-‐on experience of what it’s like to push the boundaries, explore their
talents, and influence social change.
Students are provided the opportunity to work in Brooklyn-‐based organizations in traditionally unpaid internships for $10/ <br>hour for full time work (35-‐40 hours/week) for ten weeks.
