The New York City Public Service Corps is the nation’s first and largest off-campus internship program for college students. The Public Service Corps is dedicated to providing undergraduate and graduate students with opportunities to serve their communities, build professional skills and learn about careers in the public sector. A Public Service Corps internship links meaningful community service experience with academic learning, personal growth, and civic responsibility. While students apply their classroom studies to the real world, community needs are met.

Public Service Corp Interns are eligible to work in all agencies of New York City government who participate in the Public Service Corps program. The Public Service Corps is a program of the New York City Department of Citywide Administrative Services, with sponsorship from City agencies, the Federal Work-Study Program.

Application Requirements:
All potential interns and applicants must complete an application and submit a resume, cover letter, and proof of enrollment. Schedule an appointment with an internship counselor in Room C-102.

Stipend_or_Credit:Academic Credit Required
Information:Unpaid and academic credit is required.  Paid internships are available federal work-study students only.  Work-study students should visit the financial aid office (U-201).
