: Volunteers for the National September 11 Memorial & Museum play a critical role in providing a meaningful experience for millions of visitors from around the world.
With the opening of the 9/11 Memorial Museum in the spring of 2014, volunteer opportunities are being expanded. We are seeking volunteers with compassion, patience, integrity, reliability and excellent communication skills for the following positions:

Please schedule an appointment with an Internship Counselor in C102 or M101. You MUST have a copy of your resume in on the day of your scheduled appointment.
Visitor Services Volunteers /Interns Volunteers/Interns are an integral part of visitor services operations at both the Memorial and Museum. They support public programming, provide information about 9/11 victims and educate visitors about the rebuilding of the World Trade Center site. Volunteers/Interns also support special ceremonies and commemorative events for the Memorial and Museum. Museum Docents Volunteer docents help support the Museum’s educational mission. Docents provide interpretive services to visitors through thematic talks that include detailed information about artifacts, the World Trade Center site and the history of 9/11.
Academic credit is recommended and available. <br>
