Starting this Summer semester CUNY will be upgrading the Blackboard environment to version 9.1. Though this version provides more user functionality and friendliness the menu structures have changed and are very different from the current 8.0 version. However, the new interface will require some relearning and training. A Blackboard 9.1 tab has now been posted in the current Blackboard environment where you can explore some of the changes.

After signing into Blackboard, click on the tab to get more information on "How to … sessions" using videos and PDFs. In addition, you can go to https://bbupgrade.cuny.edu/webapps/login/noportal to start your training and testing of this new version. You will have access to your previous semester’s courses. This is only a test environment and should only be used for training and testing. Any changes and course modifications that you create will not be in the new environment but can be transferred over when we go live.

Please sign in and take advantage of the above resources before the start of the semester. The KCATT center will be providing more detailed training sessions and materials in the coming months.
