To change your CUNY Portal Password - Login in through the front-door (www.cuny.edu) and

• click on My Profile on the left (you may have to scroll down) 
• click on Modify
• scroll down to the end of the screen under the heading Change Your password
• and enter your Old Password, the New Password , and New Password again in the indicated fields
• click on save
